THE LC COLLECTION
3 synthetic brushes designed for liquid & cream formulas.
Please note that this collection is made in China as they offer synthetic fibers that are superior to what we can source in Japan.
In development since 2021, these synthetic bristles are carefully calibrated to mimic the look & feel of natural hair, while providing exceptional performance with liquid & cream based products. During internal testing with makeup artists, synthetic filaments worked exceptionally well with liquids/creams, while absorbing minimal product, had no hair fallout and was a breeze to clean.
Note that this collection is optimized for liquid/cream formulas. For powder formulas, we recommend the following brushes from our natural hair collection: #36, #05 and #04.
--
LC01 concealer: a petit angled brush that's dense enough to build coverage and fluffy enough to blend out. Achieving this balance took considerable time and we're very happy with how it turned out! Note that LC01 is very similar to B05 with the only notable change being the fibre color.
LC02 complexion: one of the most common feedback we received was to create an in-between size between LC01 and LC03. This brush did exceptionally well in early testing with artists and we're so excited for you guys to try it!
LC03 foundation: a substantial foundation brush that looks & feels remarkably like natural hair. The densely packed synthetic bristles feels extremely soft, absorbs minimal product and provides an effortless streak-free finish. Note that LC03 is very similar to B04 with the only notable change being the fibre color.
Please note that the LC collection is made with the latest technology in synthetic filaments and hand bundled by skilled artisans in China.

Product FAQ+−
can i use these brushes with powder products too?
yes. while the LC collection is optimized for cream and liquid formulas, about 20% of community members report using these brushes with powder blush, bronzer, and setting powder with good results. the LC01 (concealer brush) is especially popular for pressing setting powder under the eyes. the dense bristles pick up powder evenly, though community members generally recommend these brushes for cream and liquid products first.
which brush should i use for what?
community members most commonly use the LC03 (foundation brush) for liquid and cream foundation, the LC02 (complexion brush) for cream blush, bronzer, and contour, and the LC01 (concealer brush) for under-eye concealer and spot concealing. many also swap them around freely. around 15% of community members use the LC02 for foundation on smaller faces or for more precise placement.
will these work on hooded eyes or a smaller face?
community members with smaller faces frequently praise the LC01 and LC02 for their size and precision. the angled shape helps reach inner corners and tight areas around the nose. several community members specifically mention using the LC01 for hooded eyes, noting it fits the eye area well. a small number of community members noted the LC03 felt slightly large for petite features, and some use the LC02 as their foundation brush instead.
do these brushes absorb a lot of my product?
minimal product absorption is one of the most praised features of the LC collection. over 60% of community members specifically mention that the bristles do not soak up foundation or concealer, meaning more product ends up on the skin rather than trapped in the brush. many community members say they use noticeably less product than with their previous brushes or sponges.
should i stipple or swipe when applying with these brushes?
community members use both techniques successfully. stippling or patting is the most popular method for cream blush and concealer, while sweeping or buffing motions are common for foundation. around 10% of community members note that swiping can feel slightly prickly, and recommend patting for a softer feel. the angled shape works well in both directions, making it easy to switch techniques mid-application.
